FSSD Five-Year Strategic Plan (2019 – 2024)

REACH 2024:  The five-year strategic plan, approved by the Board of Education in January 2019, has been developed over a period of 9 months. The goals and strategies take into consideration the previous plan, feedback from the AdvancED accreditation review team in 2018, input from the FSSD Leadership Team, the School Board, community members, faculty, staff, parents and students.  This plan has a five-year outlook but will be reviewed and modified annually by the Board of Education.

The strategic plan denotes overarching goals from several areas but they are not the only goals being worked toward. There are many plans which are reviewed/revised annually, filled with goals and objectives guiding the work we do throughout the district, such as school improvement plans, district improvement plan, technology plan, and the Director of Schools performance goals. The other plans will be connected to the umbrella of the strategic plan. Although there are four identified goals that are a part of this plan, there are many other areas, strategies and objectives that are being considered and implemented concurrently to this guiding document. which takes a broad, long-range look at goals.
